I have been getting into the routine of using the treadmill in the small gym at work. Went three days in a row this week. At lunchtime today I did 20 minutes reasonably fast paced running and I felt fine, barely winded. I covered just over 2km.
I felt a bit tired and wobbly in the afternoon but still glad to have got to this level of fitness at least.
Tomorrow I am going to have a rest day with no serious exercise.
The diet is going really well. No pasta, no bread, no butter or cheese, hardly any potatoes, no alcohol or sugar, no fried food ….and I am eating tons of veg and pulses with a bit of lean meat , fish or eggs, and porridge in the mornings.
